Piper is from Jacksonville, North Carolina and started dancing at the age of 5. She is trained in various styles, including hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, and musical theatre. Her teaching journey began at 16 years old when she began assisting and subbing classes at her home studio, Dance Theatre of Jacksonville. Piper’s love of mentoring was sparked during this time and she continued to teach after graduating high school while also performing with Physical Graffeeti, an on-campus hip-hop group for members of the University of North Carolina Wilmington and surrounding colleges. After graduating from Cape Fear Community College and making the move to the Midwest, Piper taught for two seasons with Ms. Melinda’s Dance Studio and is very excited to be back in the studio after a little hiatus!!
