Miss Nikki

Nikki began her dance career in ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. As she moved on to high school, she continued her training and began competing in jazz, lyrical, pom, and kick. Nikki went to the University of Minnesota where she choreographed and performed for a dance organization on campus. Nikki has previously taught ballet, jazz, pom, hip hop, and contemporary to ages 3-22 in various settings.

Her goal is to empower dancers’ self-esteem, and artistic expression through kinesthetic learning. She emphasizes vulnerability and aligns movement, skills, and strong technique to emotions, feelings, and stories.

While Nikki is not teaching at Dance West, she is a fifth-grade teacher. Her passion comes from teaching. Nikki is honored to be a member of the Dance West staff!
