Recreational Classes

Registration for our 2025-26 Season is OPEN!

Our Recreational Program focuses on foundational technique, instilling a love of dance, and FUN! This program is a great stepping stone for dancers wanting to do more with dance in the future. Placement is based on age and grade level. Our school year season starts in September and concludes in May when dancers perform in our annual Spring Recital!

Toddler (Ages 18 months - 3 years)

Toddler & Me, Tiny Tutus:
Attire: any color dance attire (leotards, skirts, tops, shorts, or pants). Tights optional. Hair pulled out of face.
Shoes: Luna Ballet Shoes (Ballet Pink)

Our tuition is inclusive of the recital costume fee.

Tuition is calculated by the year and divided into 9 equal installments (Sept – May). Tuition is due by the 1st of every month and is the same regardless of how many classes are in that month. There is a 5% discount for dancers who are taking more than 1 class and families with more than 1 dancer. An annual registration fee ($35 per student) is billed at the time of registration.

Class Time & Monthly Tuition:
30 minutes – $64
45 minutes – $84
60 minutes – $94

Additional fees throughout the season include:

  • Dance photos (optional)
  • Recital souvenirs (optional)
  • Recital Hip Hop shoes (Hip Hop classes only) ($45)

Toddler & Me: A class option for dancers not ready to separate from a parent/caregiver. Toddler & Me is a creative dance and music class where parent/caregivers will help dancers enhance their socialization and work with them on their classroom participation and gross motor coordination!

Tiny Tutus: Tiny Tutus is our youngest independent dancer class, where dancers will learn to enter the classroom on their own and participate with the instructor and other dancers. Tiny Tutus focus is creative dance and an introduction to ballet.

Preschool (Ages 3 - 5)

Hippity Hop:
Attire: any color dance attire (leotards, skirts, tops, shorts, or pants). Tights optional. Hair pulled out of face.
Shoes: Clean Tennis Shoes or Tan Jazz Glove Shoes

Pre-Ballet, Pre-Dance, Pre-Dance II: 
Attire: any color dance attire (leotards, skirts, tops, shorts, pants). Tights optional. Hair pulled out of face.
Shoes: Luna Ballet Shoes (Ballet Pink) & Mary Jane Tap Shoes (Black)

Hippity Hop: Bounce along to the beat in this intro hip-hop class for kids. A great add-on to a traditional class and a way to introduce a jazz-funk style to your young dancer!

Pre-Ballet: Introduces the young dancer to Ballet through the stories and songs of the great ballets and creative music. Dancers will learn beginner ballet terminology & technique.

Pre-Dance: A beginner tap & ballet combo class that integrates Creative Movement in a more structured classroom environment. Pre-Dance focuses on dance vocabulary, basic steps, and correct form through 20 minutes of tap and 20 minutes of ballet.

Pre-Dance II: A tap & ballet combo class that continues teaching Pre-Dance fundamentals at a faster pace. Pre-Dance II introduces basic jazz steps and begins to incorporate combinations and advance on age appropriate skills.

 

Kinder (Ages 5 - 7)

Kinder-Ballet, Kinder-Dance:
Attire: any color dance attire (leotards, skirts, tops, shorts, pants). Tights optional. Hair pulled out of face.
Shoes: Luna Ballet Shoes (Pink), Mary Jane Tap Shoes (Black)

Kinder-Hop:

Kinder-Ballet: A beginner ballet class for dancers interested in focusing on only this style. Dancers will learn ballet positions, terminology, and more ballet basics through the center, at the barre, and across the floor.

Kinder-Dance: This combination class is the next step from a Pre-Dance II class. Class styles include: tap, ballet and jazz. Dancers will progress through the beginner steps within these styles with more focus on form and technique.

Kinder-Hop: A beginner hip-hop class where dancers will learn about the hip-hop style, work on footwork, body isolations and tricks. 

Kids (Ages 7 - 9)

Kids Ballet: Our ballet program equips today’s young dancers with the artistry and athleticism necessary for today’s dance world. While still maintaining the classical tradition of dance as an art form, the comprehensive training program offers students the opportunity to explore artistically, and creatively while following our curriculum based on physical principles.

Kids Hip Hop: This class will focus on rhythm through hip-hop choreography and combinations along with working on beginner to intermediate hip-hop tricks and choreography. Learn the coolest moves and skills to share with your friends to the latest radio hits! An upbeat and high-energy-style class!

Kids Tap/Jazz: Beginner to intermediate tap and jazz combo class. This class will start with the fundamentals and progress forward with attention to technique and form. These classes also work towards improving flexibility, confidence, and showmanship. Class format is 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of jazz with proper warm-ups in each style and choreography combinations.

Pre-Teen (Ages 9+)

Pre-Teen Tap/Jazz:
Attire: any color dance attire (leotards, skirts, tops, shorts, or pants). Tights optional. Hair pulled out of face.
Shoes: Mary Jane Tap Shoes (Tan) and Jazz Glove Shoes (Tan)

Pre-Teen Contemporary/Lyrical:
Attire: any color dance attire (leotards, skirts, tops, shorts, pants). Tights optional. Hair pulled out of face.
Shoes: Clean Tennis Shoes or Jazz Glove Shoe (Tan)

Pre-Teen Hip Hop:
Attire: any color dance attire (leotards, skirts, tops, shorts, pants). Tights optional. Hair pulled out of face.
